about/press
Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Jacob is the son of an elementary school para-educator and a used-car salesman—roots that shape his exploration of class, violence, and queer isolation. His work blends myth, history, and sharp social satire to create a distinctive neo-classic drama.

Drawing inspiration from Albee, Orton, Brecht, and Williams, Jacob’s writing combines poetic language, bold scale, and deep social excavation with the sweeping theatrical tradition of mid-century drama.

Jacob has been featured in Vanity Fair, Paper, and Study Magazine, with a recent profile by James Grissom.
